Description
Lindorny, the eldest of royal twins, lost her birthright as heir to the crown of Linnina when she broke her foot as an infant, a break that healed wrong and gave the girl a permanent limp. A queen and representative of the goddess Lin must be perfect, and a crooked foot is an unforgivable flaw. Thus, her younger twin Orlin took her place while Lindorny was shipped off to live in obscurity.... until the wizard Tirlangir and the prophetic dreams of Linnina's professional dreamers demand her participation in a dangerous quest. The Wildland beyond the kingdoms of Andar and Linnina has been spreading dark, strange powers beyond its borders, and it is up to Lindorny and a band of strangers-turned-friends to discover its source and save the land.
Review
This is a fun fantasy adventure, self-published by the author. The pacing is a bit uneven, but the story isn't too predictable, and I liked the settings and fun characters. It doesn't fall victim to the common problem of forcing a Message down the reader's throat; it is what it is, a nice, light adventure in a magical land.
