Review

A quick read, this book tries too hard to be clever. Algernon's world inexplicably bleeds over into human interests - at one point he studies French and converses freely with scientists, while remaining oddly ignorant about the world as a whole - which stretches the premise a little too thin. Still, it has a few amusing moments, and it's fairly benign.
